Location and facilities at Brandon Lock

Brandon Lock is situated on the River Little Ouse. The locals call this small river 'Brandon Creek'.

This stretch of the river has a different character to other parts. It is a lot narrower and runs between marshy fenland and pine plantations.

You can moor your boat at the Environment Agency moorings, located just downstream of the lock. The old flint-built town of Brandon is short walk from the lock.

You cannot navigate any further on this section of river after Brandon Road Bridge.
